The packaging process for Red Radicchio and Carrots is fast and precisely controlled and certified. After harvesting in the field, the product is delivered to the company where it is immediately processed by highly specialised personnel or stored in refrigerated cells and then processed. Only the best products are selected, washed and packaged. Product waste is sent to livestock companies or to biomass centres in the area.

SELECTION OF RAW MATERIALS: CERTIFIED LOCAL COMPANIES

The quality of raw materials is fundamental to us. The company is committed on a daily basis to  improving the typical horticultural products that are most suitable for the region. It comes as no surprise that product selection is determined by local certified companies.

For the cultivation of carrots, production is concentrated in Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, Abruzzo and Sicily. Production for the Red Radicchio is located in Veneto and Emilia-Romagna. Dedication to the improvement of a typical Italian product means supporting the region, respecting the environment and the traditions of our country. We select only certain agricultural companies in the Po Valley area and from the centre and the south of Italy to guarantee genuineness, quality and freshness. In line with the production regulations, the chosen products follow the seasons, do not use noxious substances and respect the agrarian biodiversity of the region.

WASHING

Water is a precious resource that must not be wasted and its quality is central to our production process. This is why its quality is monitored during the washing of Radicchio and Carrots with analysis pursuant to quality standards for the production process.

TRIMMING AND PACKAGING

The freshness and the high quality of the end product depends on the speed of service. Only a few hours pass between harvest to packaging. After washing, we select, trim and package the product as required by Italian and foreign clients.
