Carrots

This brightly coloured vegetable with tones ranging from yellow-orange to bright orange is crunchy, fresh, versatile for cooking and very good for your health. Carrots are a veritable treasure chest of mineral salts, Vitamin C and Beta-carotene with many beneficial effects for the organism that help to regulate intestinal functions. Thanks to the Beta-carotene, the precursor of Vitamin A, they have an antioxidant and anti-tumour effect on cell growth. They also have positive effects on the skin, heart and eyes.

Appearance, colour and taste

  • APPEARANCE: the long clean and smooth root is cylindrical in shape. It is 18-20 cm long with a diameter of around 2 cm.
  • COLOUR: bright orange.
  • TASTE: sweet depending on the seasonality.
