Late Radicchio

It is called the winter flower because this magnificent vegetable looks like a flower with bright red and candid white tones. The late radicchio is cultivated on the Po Valley, in its natural habitat. It is cared for by the expert hands of farmers from Veneto, who work to create a luxury and highly desirable product. This product is only available in the winter (November to February).

Appearance, colour and taste

  • APPEARANCE: regular shoots, uniform with good compactness. The head is accompanied by a part of the stalk that is completely clean with length proportional to the size of the head.
  • COLOUR: red foliar limb with secondary veining that is barely accentuated and white dorsal rib.
  • TASTE: dorsal rib with a sweet and pleasantly slightly bitter taste and crunchy texture.
